Patchwerk has stepped into live streaming. We run weekly music review shows and are expanding into long-form weekly content. Adult Swim has set up shop in our Studio 9000 Live Room with JID, the kind of production work this team could be part of.

Every week, independent artists and producers step into the spotlight on Nero Streaming’s Beat Review and Song Review, sharing their music, getting real-time feedback, and connecting with music industry professionals. Now we need someone to keep those broadcasts looking and sounding their best.

Patchwerk Recording Studios is looking for a skilled, creative, and dependable Livestream Technical Producer to run the technical side of our weekly Nero livestream programming. If you know your way around OBS, love music and entertainment, and stay calm when something breaks mid-show, keep reading.

About the Opportunity

Our shows give independent talent a real platform, and the person behind the board plays a big part in that. You’ll help deliver professional, engaging broadcasts that go out live across multiple platforms at once, and you’ll help turn those shows into content that keeps working long after the stream ends.

What You’ll Do

• Set up and manage livestreams using OBS Studio and Restream.io.
• Operate simultaneous broadcasts across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other platforms.
• Manage cameras, microphones, audio routing, graphics, and scene transitions.
• Prepare vertical and horizontal broadcast layouts.
• Coordinate music submissions and playback with show hosts.
• Monitor broadcast quality and troubleshoot technical issues in real time.
• Record and organize completed livestreams.
• Assist with editing highlights and short-form promotional content.
• Support pre-production planning and post-production workflows.

What You Need

• Experience with OBS Studio and Restream.io or similar streaming platforms.
• An understanding of livestream audio and video production.
• The ability to manage multiple streaming destinations.
• Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills.
• The ability to operate independently during live broadcasts.
• Availability three days per week, including Thursday evenings.
• The ability to work on-site in Atlanta.

Bonus Points

• Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Music production or audio engineering software.
• Experience producing livestreams, podcasts, or music-related content.
• Video editing and social media content creation.
• Knowledge of hip-hop, R&B, and independent music culture.

Schedule & Compensation

This is a part-time, revenue-share opportunity requiring three days per week. Thursdays are dedicated to livestream production, and the remaining days support preparation, editing, and production operations.

Compensation is performance-based and tied to livestream revenue. Specific terms will be discussed with qualified candidates.
