Atlanta’s role as a launchpad for new music is about to get another major moment.
On Thursday, January 15, 2026, BMI and Berklee College of Music bring their national
“Know Them Now: Ones to Watch” showcase to Vinyl at Center Stage in Midtown Atlanta. The program is designed to spotlight emerging artists who are already demonstrating the skill, vision, and momentum to become the next breakout names in music.
Patchwerk Radio is proud to support this event — especially because it is being organized by Latoya Brown, a former Patchwerk staff member. We’re raising awareness to help ensure these artists get the room, the ears, and the energy they deserve.
“Know Them Now” is BMI and Berklee’s curated live showcase series built to identify and elevate artists before the rest of the industry catches on. These events are curated with intention — each performer is selected for their songwriting, performance ability, and creative trajectory.
For artists, it’s a chance to perform in front of tastemakers, industry professionals, and real fans in a setting designed to highlight what makes them special. For the audience, it’s an early look at artists who will soon be shaping playlists, tours, and culture.
The January 15 Atlanta edition features five artists representing the next generation of genre-bending, emotionally driven, forward-thinking music:
The night will also include a DJ set by Bratattack, keeping the energy moving between performances.
Patchwerk has always existed to help great artists get heard, developed, and taken seriously. That mission aligns naturally with what “Ones to Watch” represents: a real platform, a real stage, and a real moment for rising talent.
Latoya Brown’s role in organizing this event is especially meaningful. As a former Patchwerk staff member, she understands firsthand how vital true platforms are for emerging artists. Supporting this showcase is not just about promoting a concert — it’s about backing the ecosystem that keeps Atlanta creative, competitive, and globally relevant.
Patchwerk Radio exists to surface what’s next — not just what’s already popular. Events like this are where tomorrow’s headliners are found.
We encourage artists, fans, and industry professionals to attend, listen closely, and support the next wave. Atlanta remains the proving ground.
January 15 is another chapter in that story.
